Expired Passwords
You may find that your password has expired. If that's the case you will be asked to create a new password.
How MFA Will Work for Individual (Non-Shared) Accounts?
For users with individual accounts (where only one person uses the login and email address):
When logging in, a one-time verification code will be sent directly to your registered email address.
Simply retrieve the code from your inbox and enter it to complete the login process.
No coordination with other users is required, and you can log in as usual—just with the added security step of entering the code.
This process is straightforward and designed to keep your account secure without adding unnecessary complexity.
How MFA Will Work with Shared Accounts?
When logging in, a verification code will be sent to the email address associated with the account (for example, groupreservations@somewhere.com or meetingsandevents@somewhere.com).
Only one person can complete the login process at a time for each shared account. The MFA code is valid for a single login session and expires after use or after a short period.
If multiple team members attempt to log in simultaneously using the same shared account, only the most recent MFA code sent to the shared mailbox will be valid.
After one person logs in and uses the code, the next person will need to wait approximately one to two minutes before attempting to log in. This will trigger a new MFA code to be sent to the shared mailbox, which they can then use to complete their login.
This process can be repeated as needed, with each user waiting for a new code before logging in.
What This Means for Your Team
Simultaneous logins using the same shared account are not possible. Each login must be completed one after the other, with a short wait between attempts to receive a new MFA code.
All team members will need access to the shared mailbox to retrieve the latest MFA code for each login attempt.
If several users need to log in around the same time, they will need to coordinate and wait for their turn to receive and use the new code.
If you have any questions about how this process will work or need additional clarification, please let us know. We’re here to help ensure a smooth transition and continued security for your team.
